Q. What are Decal Stickers
and Graphics made from?

All our Decal Stickers and Graphics are made from High Quality
Cast
Vinyl film. Our vinyl is the same type used for OEM (Original
Equipment Manufacturers) products lasting 5-9 years outside.
Do not settle for vinyl stickers and graphics that are made
from cheap vinyl films as they are not designed to last outdoors
on vehicles and will not conform around curved surfaces.
Q. How long will Vinyl Decal Stickers and
Graphics last?
A. Vinyl
products produced by Bladerunner Graphics should last a long
time. The average life expectancy for standard colours is
up to 8 years (depending on installation location). Our products
are guaranteed on surfaces that are 90% eg. upright. Surfaces
that are flat and exposed to extreme sunlight may not last
the guaranteed period.
Some specialty vinyl films such as metallics, chrome, brushed
silver etc. have a slightly shorter lifespan. Factors such
as extreme exposure to sunlight and harsh chemicals can reduce
the lifespan of all vinyl materials.
Q. Are there differences in Sticker
Quality?
A. Although
stickers and graphics look great when first applied, the material
quality will determine how long your stickers will continue
to look that way.
Obviously price is a big factor in dertermining quality.
Cheap materials may last for years indoors away from sunlight,
however will crack, fade and shrink if used outside.
All our products have been made to last in outdoor applications,
withstanding environmental factors such as water and sunlight.
With our specialty being vehicle graphics we only use quality
cast vinyl films which are designed to conform around curves.
Don't be fooled by people offering calendared films for vehicles.
If a cheaper calendared film is applied to a curved surface
eg. a car. it will eventually shrink and flatten out causing
it to lift off the vehicle.
Not only is vinyl film quality important but the artwork
is also a key factor. Some of our competitors offer stickers
that are software traced from an image causing jagged incorrect
lines. From a distance, they look correct but up close they
look like they have been hand cut. Our products are checked
for accuracy before cutting, eliminating poor quality artwork.
As many of our clients compete in shows and exhibitions we
understand the importance of accuratly cut stickers and graphics.
Q. Are there cheaper vinyl stickers?
A. Yes,
although our pricing is very competitive, you may find cheaper
stickers and graphics available from some of our competitors,
which are made from lesser grade materials. Our extensive
experience in vehicle graphics has lead us to determine the
best materials for each application. As with most industries,
there are companies with less expensive products but the difference
is in the quality of products and customer services. Bladerunner

our product quality and customer satisfaction.
Q. Why don't you print your Stickers
and Graphics?
A. Our
vinyl stickers and graphics are cut from coloured films rather
than being printed. Ink technology will only last 3 years
outside compared with 5-7 years for coloured vinyls.
Q. How do you make multiple coloured
Stickers and Graphics?
A. Coloured
stickers are made by cutting each colour separetely and layering
the stickers on top of eachother.
