Q. What do I need to know before
ordering GT Racing Stripes?
A.
All GT Racing Stripes are made using High Performance Cast
Vinyl with an outdoor life expectancy of 7-8 years. Cast
vinyl is specially designed for vehicles and will conform
around the curves of your car. Heating with a hair dryer also
helps the vinyl stretch and conform.
GT Racing Stripes come in the length of your
choice. We have found that 5 900mm will fit each section of
your car (hood, roof, boot/trunk). Like all our products,
we suggest that you measure your car to make sure the stripes
will fit before purchasing. Each set of GT Racing Stripes
are made to order and therefore we are unable to refund your
order if the sizing is incorrect.
Q. How do I measure my car for GT Racing
Stripes?
A. Measuring
your car to ensure the correct lenght of strips is simple.
Use a tape measure and measure each section of your car. eg.
Bonnet/Hood, Roof, Trunk/Boot. Allow a minimum of 600mm (60cm)
for bumpers. Make sure you order excess to be sure to cover
each part of your car.
Next using a measuring tape, measure the width you would
like for you car. Remeber that although we may have displayed
a stripe on one side of the car you have the freedom to place
it on either side or in the centre of you car. If you require
slightly more or less width then please notify us before purchasing.

Q. Can I see GT Stripes on my car before
purchasing?
A.Yes
we offer this as limited and free service. Simply email us
a photo of your car. The photo must be a square front view,
back view or top view. We will not work on photos that are
taken from angles. Together with your email, include the design
you would like to see on your car.
Q. How do I install GT Racing Stripes?
A. Carefully
follow the instructions included with your purchase. It is
important to make sure your vehicle is clean and free of wax
including and especially around window seals and panel joins.
Also make sure you have a clean environment in which to apply
the stripes, preferably inside with no dust or wind. Do not
apply stripes in direct sunlight or to a hot surface, this
will make application near impossible. While all our products
are easy to install, we strongly recommend that first time
vinyl graphic installers seek professional help during installation.
